OHF: Labor Day Weekend Highlights

We had a busy but wonderful Labor Day weekend. I was a bit worried since G got sick at the sitter first thing Friday morning.  By the end of the day she was feeling better and I got to start my long weekend early.

Here are a few of my favorite things from the weekend...

[The Zoo]
My friend and I took our girls to the Natural Bridge Zoo. It's not very big and can easily be done in 1-2 hours, which was perfect for her three year old and my one year old.

[Local Eats]
We stopped in Lexington for lunch. We ran across this cute eatery. The food was delicious and the service was great.

[Redo]
Operation "Ready to Sell" is underway as we begin some odds and ends that will get our house ready to be put on the market. I started repainting the bathroom this weekend. My goal is to have it finished by the end of the week.

[In the Box]
Our new Co - worker's birthday was Tuesday so I put together a little box of goodies over the weekend. It was a mix of teacher survival and birthday fun. It included chocolate,  aspirin, antibacterial wipes,   decorative duct tape, chapstick and birthday glasses. The other 1st grade teacher picked up a gift card and the box was complete.

[That Face]
Every moment with this little one is so precious to me...oh how I wish I could slow down time.

  1. That lunch place is so adorable! And I can't wait until E is old enough to really enjoy going to the zoo... That was one of my favorite things to do when I was a little one. :)

So I don't know why/how I haven't told you about this before- but I have a new link up called Mama Mondays, and I would love for you to join in next week! All of the details are on my blog!

Have a great weekend, friend! :)
