These last couple of days have been really trying for various reasons. I feel emotionally spent. I'm sleeping but not rested. I'm so blessed to have a husband who knows his wife and knows how to make me feel better.
I picked up G after work and made my way home. I brought her into the house and he was there to greet me. He helped bring in the groceries and got G settled while I put them away.
To make things even better, he had made dinner! He tried a new recipe and it was delicious!!! Did I mention how amazing he is? Then tonight, I had to make a breakfast dish for a co-worker's birthday breakfast in the morning. He took over taking care of G so I could get this accomplished. He gave her a bath and is now putting her to bed. It was so nice to be able to love on my miracle...but it was also nice to have a little mommy break. He is such a blessing.
I'm really looking forward to tomorrow night. C will be off and we'll all be home together. He's been working a lot and our time together is needed and just as precious.
Well...I suppose I should take the next few minutes to get things ready for tomorrow. Maybe I'll even get to bed early! Praise God for a husband who loves his wife and a for a man who is an amazing father to his daughter. I could not have asked for anything more.
