With A Smile On My Face

I've been looking forward to this weekend for a while. Yesterday my hubby and I met with a lawyer to finalize our wills. We've been talking about doing this for quite a while and I am grateful to say that thanks to the Wills For Heroes Program, we now have official wills and a wonderful peace of mind. We also went to a consignment sale where I found many spring and summer items for G at half price...yay! Here are some of my favorites...

Afterwards we had a lunch date...just the two of us! It was nice to spend some quality time with my husband. While we adore and cherish every moment with our daughter, it was nice to have some true adult time. We took a stroll through the mall and then headed home.

Today brought just as much enjoyment. My friend Shannon and her little one came over for a much anticipated play date. The girls played while we caught up, laughed, and adored the tiny humans of whom we are blessed to call ours. The girls played so well and kept us giggling at how they interacted with and reacted to each other. We enjoyed homemade pizza, dancing, and music. Who doesn't love clapping if you're happy and you know it?!

My hubby has a training today and tomorrow. Fortunately he has his evenings free and will be returning home soon. G is asleep and the house is quiet. After so many wonderful things, I find myself (finally) at rest with a smile on my face.
