Another week has come and gone. It is yet again time for Five on Friday! I'm linking up with The Good Life for this weeks five.

A couple months ago I was introduced to this couple's story through a mutual friend. I've posted on them in days past, and while it is unlikely that we'll ever meet, I have cried with them, smiled with them, and prayed with them. I don't know if the connection comes from being the mother of a daughter or just the fact that we are united in Christ. A couple weeks ago they had a celebration gathering to celebrate the life of their precious little girl who, after 10 beautiful hours on this earth, went home to be with Jesus. They continue to be on my mind almost everyday. I hope you'll take time to go through this celebration video, lift this family in prayer, and rejoice in Sophie's healing, even though it was not on this side of Heaven. To hear them share, you can forward to around the 30-35 minute mark. They are a beautiful, spirit-filled couple. Please join them in celebrating Sophia Kyla.

I've gone a little crazy with these leg warmers. They are so fun to make and G looks adorable in them! Not only are they super cute, but they are so versatile and make diaper changing a snap (sorry for the pun).

I wear this necklace on a regular basis and with G turning 6 months old tomorrow, I can't help but reflect on its significance. My husband bought me this necklace not long after we found out we were pregnant. I love all that it represents to me and as time seems to be flying by, I can look on this and remember everything leading up to our miracle.

A friend of mine at work surprised me with this special gift. It is a place mat that she thought I could use at work. I loved it so much that I have been diligently searching for more in order to put them on my dining room table. It's not so much the gift but that she thought of me. It's been a long and trying week. Having not said anything to her, she blessed me in a big way. I love how God works.

My mom sent us a special package this week. It had a little something for all of us in it. I just love what she sent G and to top it off, she included her delicious pumpkin bread recipe. I am so blessed to not only have an amazing mother is this beautiful woman, but I am doubly grateful to be able to call her one of my best friends.

I hope everyone has a blessed weekend!
